Hafa Adai (greeting in Guam's native langauage - Chamorro). Here is my family - my daughter (Anastasia), my girlfriend (Clai - pronounced Klay), and me.

Here's my Resume.
As of right now, I am familir with Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and Python. Here are some of the projects I've created recently (click on images for the links):

    Meal Planner - Capstone
  • Users are able to generate a week long meal plan based on the diet, calories, and allergies of their choice
  • If the users like that meal plan, they are able to then save it to view later
  • Users are also able to search for recipes based on different filters like cuisine, diet, and allergies.
  • This application uses a Ruby on Rails Backend with a Vue.js and Bootstrap Frontend.

Job History

  • Junior Software Engineer at Spectrio
    • Using Full Stack Ruby to work on the Spectrio Cloud Website to work with incoming companies that Spectrio has acquired to help merge the technologies used at those companies with the technologies used at Spectrio
    • Working with Spectrio’s CMS to make sure that if there are any bugs, that they get fixed in a timely manner
    • Using Node.js to work on client’s digital menus and other items to make sure they are displaying properly
  • Teachers Assistant at Actualize
  • Assistant Manager at Amazon
    • Implemented managerial style that turned the shift from the least efficient to the most efficient in the building within 4 months, saving $3600/week in wage expenses, using a personal approach with each employee and demonstrated pace-setting
    • Led extremely successful Prime Week; shipped more than 2x the average packages normally shipped
    • Trained multiple associates who were promoted to assistant manager roles within 2-3 months of training
  • Trainer at Amazon
    • Learned and taught every department in the building (10 total) in a 3-month span
    • Managed entire night shift (approx 600 employees) for a period of 2 weeks during December Peak Season one month after hire, covering for other trainers' illness and ensuring all employees had proper training and permissions to work effectively
    • Ensured all reports, audits, and work handoffs were completed and submitted on time
